Rugged Peak Design
Rugged
Peak Design, a design and editorial services company
specializing in Graphic and Web Design, Writing and
Editing, is staffed by
Dawn Garcia, a freelance graphic and Web
designer, writer and editor with more than eight years
of professional experience. Dawn will design a custom-made
logo, business card, brochure, postcard and Web site
for your business at an affordable price. Rugged
Peak Design was founded in March, 2003.
Dawn's
writing experience includes
the Fort
Collins Area Chamber of Commerce, Fort Collins' Forum,
Colorado Business Journal, Images Fort Collins Magazine
and Inside
Sports. Along with her writing talent, she designs
business cards, brochures, logos, letterheads, and
postcards, as well as Web sites. She has designed more
than two dozen Web sites through her company, Rugged
Peak Design.
During
her employment at the Idaho State Tax Commission,
she accumulated a vast knowledge of creative design
skills for print and the Web - creating, designing, writing,
editing, proofreading and researching information for
advertisements, logos, flyers, brochures, pamphlets,
newsletters, trade show displays, and annual reports
for internal and external use. She gained a working
knowledge of the production, proofing, and printing
process, as well. While at Micron Electronics, Inc. she
attained experience in writing, revising, editing, and researching information for
technical manuals and getting started guides, as well
as graphic design for manual covers, box toppers, and
Web design of the departments internal Web site. To
